When I launched Sky’s Rainy Day Surprise at the MeWe Exhibition in Westgate, Auckland—after being warmly invited by Colwill School—I wanted to create an experience that brought Sky’s World to life.

Children were invited to become designers for the day, choosing pieces of fabric and adding them to their own patchwork dress designs. The response was incredible, and it quickly became one of the most memorable parts of the exhibition.

Inspired by that moment, I’ve created this free printable activity for families, classrooms, and young creators.
